STORY

The Lawn Company Limited’ was established in 1991, were it started off as a small scale Garden Centre which specialised mainly in drip irrigation and turf-laying. 
In 1997 a gift shop was also opened in a newly built shopping complex. This introduced the company to giftware importation, which since then has always played a main part in the company’s philosophy. 
In the following three years ‘The Lawn’ began to focus more on importation rather than landscaping. The turning point for the company was in 1999 when it was decided that ‘The Lawn’ would concentrate exclusively on candles, home fragrancing and plant care products.
Having experience in the field of plant care ‘The Lawn’ only imports products which it deems superior. There is a vast range of plant care products which the company offers. 
In 1999 ‘The Lawn Company Limited’ started importing products from international companies like ‘Eika’, ‘Spaas’ and ‘Yankee Candle’. The products offered were generally popular throughout the Maltese Islands.
Dealing with these established companies gave ‘The Lawn’ a great opportunity to grow as a company itself. This growth has led it to become the number one seller of fragranced candles and leaders in the market in other categories in the local market.
